Factory-ECOMATION outlines a novel paradigm in the field of industrial environmental impact abatement through the application of new eco-optimized monitoring and control paradigms and the introduction of novel integrated emissions reduction and energy recovery technologies, which will result from the industrial application and validation in WP7. A strategic plan for exploitation of the results of the project in the manufacturing industry within 3 to 5 years after the conclusion of the project will be prepared in line with EU platforms such as ManuFuture, EFFRA Factory of the Future, Eureka and IMS. Project results will be disseminated scientifically via scientific working groups, conferences, articles in journals and a special issue of an academic journal and industrially via industrial demonstrations, seminars, workshops and trade exhibitions. To guarantee the positive impact of the project both in industrial aspects within the EU manufacturing sector and in the internationally leading scientific community, this work package will ensure that the necessary steps will be taken to disseminate and exploit the results of the research. WP9 activities will be mainly conducted by Synesis, with a very limited support by all the other partners whenever required. No actual commercial exploitation and any concrete preparation thereof, as well as related activities (e.g. marketing) will be reported in this work package and under the project in general.
The aim of this WP will be:
- Ensuring proper scientific and industrial dissemination of the results;
- Developing and updating plans for exploitation of Factory-ECOMATION in the EU traditional and emergent manufacturing sector;
- Assuring the instantiation of standardization and eco-labelling procedures.
